NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will carry out restoration work on roads damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake between the Higashi-Kanto Expressway Ibaraki Airport North Interchange (IC) and Ibaraki Town Junction (JCT). This restoration work will be closed from 5:00 on September 24 to 6:00 on September 29. In addition, before the road is closed to the public, one-sided alternate traffic control will be applied within the same section.

3 Construction overview

We will repair the road body damaged by the Great East Japan Earthquake (pavement damage, bridge damage). In order to carry out this restoration work, a five-day suspension of traffic and two-way traffic regulation on one side are required twice.

Regarding the second implementation, we will inform you separately when the schedule is decided.
