Conducted simultaneous joint enforcement of 1 prefecture and 3 prefectures

Metropolitan Expressway Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo) today violate the Expressway Traffic Police Corps and the Road Law (Vehicle Restriction Order) in the three prefectures. We also carried out joint enforcement of violations of the Road Traffic Law.

From the past, from the perspective of preventing traffic accidents and preserving the road environment, we have been conducting control of violating vehicles at toll gates, etc. Due to the impact, it has become a major social issue such as interruption of distribution. In addition, there is a concern that the road structure will be affected, especially for the vehicles that violate the weight.

Therefore, with the aim of realizing a safe and comfortable Expressway by further promoting various measures, we carried out simultaneous joint enforcement as a network in the metropolitan area under the cooperation of Expressway companies with the jurisdiction of the police.
