3 Business overview

There is about 100,000 traffic per day between Keiyo Road Anagawa (East) IC and Kaizuka IC, which causes chronic traffic congestion due to traffic concentration such as commuting hours in the morning and evening and weekends during leisure time. Also, there is a rear-end collision accident in the middle of traffic. As a traffic safety measure to alleviate these traffic congestion and reduce traffic accidents during traffic congestion, we have developed an "additional lane" that connects acceleration/deceleration lanes between interchanges. 4 Effects of installing additional lanes

By installing additional lanes, the traffic capacity of the entire section will increase, and congestion due to merging from Kaizuka IC to the main lane and changing lanes when flowing out to Anagawa (East) IC will be reduced. As a result, the flow of traffic will be smooth, and you can expect the effects of alleviating traffic congestion and improving the punctuality and safety of traffic.

It is assumed that the traffic congestion loss value will be reduced by about 40% by operating this additional lane.
