NEXCO EAST in Saitama Construction Office (Saitama City), Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road for stretching construction of), Ken-O Road will be carried out at night closed to traffic between Shiraoka iris IC ~ Kuki Shiraoka JCT.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1 closed section

(1) section, such as: Ken-O Road between Shiraoka iris IC ~ Kuki Shiraoka JCT (inner loop, outer loop) (extended 3.3km)

(2) Closing date and time

2015: Monday, January 19th from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning
January 20 (Tue) 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

We will carry out 10 hours of closed nights per day for 2 nights.
(Preliminary days: 21st (Wed), 22nd (Thu) from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning)

In case of postponement due to rainy weather, it will be carried out from the following Monday.
The decision on the day will be made at 16:00 in the evening.

2 Detour

Please use prefectural road No. 3, prefectural road No. 396, national road No. 122 as a detour. Attachment-1 [PDF: 139KB]

The normal running time in a closed section is about 15 minutes, but if you use a detour, it will be about 20 minutes.

If you are a customer, please make sure you have enough time to go out.

3 Construction content

Currently under construction Ken-O Road due from Kuki Shiraoka junction (JCT) to the new-service of the border Furukawa Interchange (IC), construction of new signs, do the installation work of the display content changes and information boards of the existing labeling. Attachment-2 [PDF:439KB]

4 How to obtain traffic information

(1) Closure posters, etc.

Notice signs, posters, leaflets, etc. will be posted at the toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
A banner will be posted on the overpass of Tohoku Expressway.
