Taniwahara Management Office/Chiba Management Office
NEXCO EAST Taniwahara Management Office (Tsukuba Mirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture) and Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) have Ken-o Expressway (Ken-O Road) in a two-lane section (one lane on each side). There will be night closures between the Inashiki Higashi Interchange (IC) and Shimousa IC for pavement repair work.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you will have plenty of time when you go out.
1 closed section and date and time
(1) Section Ken-O Road Inashiki Higashi IC-Shimosa IC up and down line (extension 8.4km)
(2) Date and time Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning (10 hours)

- The decision to close the road will be made at 17:00 on the day of implementation.
2 Detour
Ken-O Road When the Inashiki Higashi IC-Shimosa IC is closed, the detour is a parallel prefectural road. The time required between Inashiki Higashi IC and Shimosa IC (about 8 km) is usually about 10 minutes, but if you use the detour route, the time required will be about 30 minutes, so please take time to go. 3 Construction overview
Ken-O Road In order to ensure safe and comfortable traffic between the Inashiki Higashi IC and Shimosa IC, we will carry out work to repair steps on the pavement.
In order to minimize the impact on our customers during the construction work, we will close the roads during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light, and carry out concentrated and efficient repairs.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that our customers can use our products safely and comfortably.
