NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture) has been carrying out bridge renewal work on the C3 Gaikan Expressway (Outer Ring Road) since Monday, May 29th. The first week of work will end at 11pm on Tuesday, the 30th, with the second week starting at 10am on Monday, June 5th. Traffic congestion of up to 15km is expected during the work period, so please cooperate by taking detours such as the C4 Metropolitan Inter-City Expressway (Ken-O Road).
- The first week of construction began on Monday, May 29th at 10:00 a.m. on the outer loop between Toda Higashi IC and Kawaguchi Nishi IC, and was completed at 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th.
- During the construction period, congestion of up to 8.2km occurred and it took up to 105 minutes (usually 16 minutes) to pass between Oizumi JCT and Kawaguchi JCT.
- The second week of construction will continue from 10:00 am on Monday, June 5 to 6:00 am on Wednesday, 7th.

- Construction regulation: Continuous lane regulation of approximately 1,500 m
- Traffic congestion: May 29th (Monday) 10:15am-9:20pm (maximum 8.2km around 6pm)
May 30th (Monday) 5:50-20:30 (maximum 8.2km 7:00-10:00) - Transit time: Maximum 105 minutes between Oizumi JCT and Kawaguchi JCT (normally 16 minutes as of 9:00 on the 30th)
