NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama Prefecture Saitama) cannot usually enter CA A tour that allows you to sneak into the emergency evacuation passage inside the undersea tunnel of Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway will be held in October and November 2018.
This tour is very popular with the "Aqualine Expedition" held in the "Summer Festival in Umihotaru" held in August every year. As part of the "bold disclosure / opening of attractive public facilities / infrastructure" promoted based on the above, we will conduct general recruitment of tour participants.
This tour is organized by NEXCO EAST, NEXCO EAST, Nitto Kotsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Nitto Kotsu Co., Ltd."), and Hato Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "(Co.) Ltd.". 1 Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway exploration points
"How did you build bridges and tunnels in the sea? , "If a traffic accident or fire occurs in the undersea tunnel, where will you escape?" "... The Tokyo Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway, which crosses Tokyo Bay with a bridge and a submarine tunnel, has many construction techniques and safety measures that are not generally known.
In this tour, you will walk from the entrance of the subsea tunnel to the emergency evacuation passage inside the tunnel. In the emergency evacuation passage, you can see evacuation facilities that you cannot normally see up close with an explanation from an exclusive guide. You can also listen to explanations such as the fire engine for the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway and the cutter face that dug the undersea tunnel.

3 Participation conditions (common)
- 3rd grade and above.
- Please check the participation conditions for each tour regarding age requirements for participants who must be accompanied by a guardian.
- Those who can walk more than 2km on foot. Those who can climb stairs with 120 steps or more.
- Please wear comfortable clothes and athletic shoes.
- Since this is a tour of facilities for road management, there are places that are not barrier-free. For safety reasons, we do not allow people who need assistance to move, such as wheelchairs, to participate. We apologize for the inconvenience, but please understand.
- Those who can participate in the survey after experiencing the Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway expedition during this tour. Adults (junior high school students and above) must fill out the questionnaire.
