<Traffic conditions on the Expressway

  • The traffic between Saitama and Chiba (Tohoku Expressway Expressway east Kanto Expressway) was via the city center, but about 80% of the traffic was converted to the outer ring road.
  • Due to the effect of 4 lanes (2 locations) of the Metropolitan Expressway JCT, the traffic congestion loss time of the Metropolitan Expressway inside the central ring (including the central ring) is reduced by about 30%
  • Save time by connecting Saitama and Chiba without going through the city center. At bus companies, the same number of drivers can increase the number of flights from 4 round trips / day to 6 round trips / day, contributing to improved productivity.

  • The traffic between Saitama and Chiba (Tohoku Expressway ⇔ East Kanto Expressway) was via the city center (capital express), but about 80% of the traffic was converted to the outer ring road.
  • With the opening of the Chiba section of the Outer Ring Road and the conversion of the Horikiri JCT-Kosuge JCT and the Itabashi JCT-Kumanocho JCT to four lanes, the traffic loss time for the Tokyo Metropolitan Expressway inside the central ring (including the central ring) will be reduced by about 30%.
