NEXCO東日本関東支社（埼玉県さいたま市）では、雪道での安全運転を心掛けていただくため、1月中旬に管内の休憩施設において、今年度2回目の冬用タイヤの装着状況調査を実施いたしました。
冬用タイヤの装着率は小型車平均は70.5％、大型車平均は97.6％、全車種平均で79.6％となりました。前回調査（令和2年12月9日、13日実施）と比較すると、装着率は大きく上昇したものの、小型車は約3割のお客さまが未装着でした。（調査詳細は別紙-1【PDF：379KB】参照）
積雪・凍結路面において、冬用タイヤに比べて夏用タイヤでの走行は事故が増えます。
普段雪が降らない首都圏地域であっても、路面凍結や降雪に見舞われることがあります。
積雪・凍結路面において夏用タイヤでの走行は大変危険ですので、冬用タイヤの装着及びタイヤチェーンを携行し、安全なドライブをお願いします。（別紙-2【PDF：1.7MB】参照）
