At the NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), the entrance ramp of the E83 Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") will be closed at night to carry out pavement repair work and countermeasures against reverse driving.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.

• If you detour from Kawakami IC to Imai IC on the Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound Line as shown by the blue arrow in the diagram below, it will take about 7 minutes (usually about 4 minutes).
• If you detour from Kawakami IC to Totsuka Out-bound on the Yokohama-Shindo Road Outbound Line as indicated by the pink arrow in the figure below, it will take about 11 minutes (usually about 2 minutes).

Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

3. Construction overview

At the entrance ramp of Yokohama-Shindo Road Kawakami IC, the paved road surface is damaged, so we will carry out road surface repair work and reverse driving countermeasure construction (road marking, color pavement) to prevent reverse driving accidents on Expressway.
The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since construction cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to work with the ramp closed. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic is light, and construction will be carried out intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for safe and comfortable use of the Expressway.
