The Saitama Construction Office East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Kanto Regional Development Bureau North Ken-o Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Ken-O Road") to four lanes (from Kuki Shiraoka Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Taiei JCT). The section from Satte Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") to Goka IC will begin operation as a four-lane road from March 14, 2025. In addition, the maximum speed on this section will also be increased from 70 km/h to 80 km/h.
With the start of operations, the widening Ken-O Road in Saitama Prefecture will be completed to four lanes.
For the remaining section between Ibaraki and Chiba prefectures, we will continue to proceed with construction with safety as our top priority.
