NEXCO EAST Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) will be closing the ramps at Makuhari Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") on the E14 Keiyo Road at night to carry out pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

2. Date and time

• Closure ② will be carried out after construction of Closure ① is completed, so Closures ① and ② will not be carried out simultaneously.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

Closed ① Keiyo Road In-bound Makuhari IC (towards Makuhari and Tsudanuma) exit ramp
As indicated by the 　blue arrow, if you exit at Takeishi IC and take a detour via Prefectural Route 262 (turn right at Makuhari Park intersection) and National Route 14, it is expected to take approximately 7 minutes (usually approximately 3 minutes) to reach Makuhari IC.

Closed ② Keiyo Road Makuhari IC (from Tsudanuma to Tokyo) entrance ramp
If you take a detour via Prefectural Route 15 as indicated by the 　blue arrow (turn right at Makuhari 1-Chome intersection, turn right at the License Center intersection, and turn left at the Makuhari Overpass intersection), the estimated travel time is approximately 7 minutes (usually approximately 1 minute).

3. Construction overview

Due to damage to the pavement at the on-ramp of Keiyo Road Makuhari IC, pavement repair work will be carried out. The section in which this work will be carried out is one lane, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the on-ramp to carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure that customers can use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
