NEXCO EAST Utsunomiya Management Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture) will be closing the exit ramp at Utsunomiya Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") at night to carry out sign replacement work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

1. Lamp closure location and date and time

• Attached to each line E4 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.

2. Construction overview

Tohoku Expressway　Sign replacement work will be performed at the exit ramp of the Utsunomiya IC due to significant deterioration of the sign board.
The section where the above work is to be performed is a single lane, and since it is not possible to perform the work using normal lane restrictions, it will be necessary to close the ramp for the work. Therefore, we will close the ramps during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, in order to concentrate and efficiently carry out the construction work.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.

3. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A notice board will be installed on the lamp to be closed.
