NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) and NEXCO-Patrol Kantou Co., Ltd. (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) will conduct a road work training exercise simulating the occurrence of a vehicle driving the wrong way on Expressway on Friday, July 11th at Kashiwa Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E6 Joban Expressway (Kashiwa Annex, Taniwara Office, NEXCO Maintenance Kanto Co., Ltd.).
The purpose of this training is to strengthen cooperation between team members, leading to smooth incident handling and providing customers with "safe, secure, comfortable and convenient" Expressway services.

3. Implementation Overview
Assuming that a vehicle is traveling the wrong way on Expressway, the participants will be trained on a series of roadside operations, from the arrival of a Traffic Management Team patrol car on the scene, to reporting to relevant agencies, controlling traffic, ensuring the safety of following general vehicles, and dealing with the vehicle traveling the wrong way.
