NEXCO EAST The Mito Administration Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture) will be conducting nighttime ramp closures at interchanges ("IC") due to pavement repair work at the E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway ("Kita Kanto Expressway") and Higashi-Mito Road ramps.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

- Attached to each line E50 The indication such as shows the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- 順延する場合の予備日や迂回路等については、別添資料【PDF：1.1MB】をご覧ください。
- If the ramp construction work is postponed due to bad weather, it will be carried out on a backup date after July 31st (Thursday).
The order in which construction will be carried out on the backup day will be ① ⇒ ② ⇒ ③. - The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.
2. Detour
迂回にあたっては別紙1～3【PDF：1.1MB】をご参照ください。
迂回により所要時間が長くなりますので、時間にゆとりをもってお出かけください。
3. Construction overview
Pavement repair work will be carried out at each IC on the Kita-Kanto Road and Higashi-Mito Road due to damage to the road surface.
Since the construction work cannot be carried out with normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramps. Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramp during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and conduct the construction work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
