NEXCO EAST The Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) will be closed at night for pavement repair work at the ramp at the E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Higashi-Kanto Expressway" Chiba Kita Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC").
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you have plenty of time when you go out.

• Attached to each line E51 The indications such as indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
2. Date and time

• Closure ② will be carried out after construction of Closure ① is completed, so Closures ① and ② will not be performed simultaneously.

2. Detour

Refer to the figure below for detours.
Detours will increase the time required, so please take time to go out.

Closed: East Kanto Expressway Chiba Kita IC (entrance ramp from National Route 16 Yachiyo direction)
If you head south on National Route 16 as indicated by 　the blue arrow and take a detour via Naganuma intersection, it will take approximately 3 minutes (usually approximately 1 minute) to reach Chiba Kita IC.

Closed ② Exit ramp of Higashi-Kanto Expressway Chiba Kita IC (towards National Route 16 Chiba)
If you head north on National Route 16 as indicated by 　the blue arrow and take a detour via Prefectural Route 69, it will take approximately 5 minutes (usually approximately 3 minutes) to reach Naganuma Intersection.

3. Construction overview

Since the pavement is damaged at the entrance and exit ramp of the Chibakita IC on the Higashi-Kanto Expressway, pavement repair work will be carried out. The section where this work is to be carried out is one lane, and since it is not possible to carry out construction under normal lane regulations, it is necessary to close the ramp and carry out the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps on weekday evenings when traffic is low, and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
