NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) and Niigata Regional Head Office (Niigata City, Niigata Prefecture) will hold a commemorative event to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the full opening of the E17 Kan-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Kan-Etsu Expressway") at LaLaport Fujimi on Saturday, October 18, 2025.
The event aims to express gratitude to the local residents who use Kan-Etsu Expressway on a daily basis, as well as to deepen understanding of the effects of Kan-Etsu Expressway 's construction. In addition to promoting our business, the event will feature a variety of events, including a talk show and autograph session by former Urawa Red Diamonds players, a stage show by local organizations along the road, tourism promotion by local governments along the road, greetings from local mascots, and a panel exhibition on the effects of the road's construction.
Additionally, at our business PR booth, we will be holding a "reflex game" in which participants can participate by answering a simple questionnaire, and depending on the results of the test, we will be giving away prizes such as local specialties from Kan-Etsu Expressway Expressway and original commemorative novelties.

2. Event details

①Talk show and autograph session with former Urawa Reds players

A talk show will be held with former Urawa Reds players Shinzo Koroki and Ryota Moriwaki. The event will be hosted by Natsumi Asai, a familiar MC at Urawa Reds Stadium. They will be sharing a wide range of stories, including stories about Expressway and memories from their playing days, so be sure to stop by the venue!

As a special event on the day, we will be holding a signing session limited to the first 30 pairs of people. Numbered tickets will be distributed as follows, so please participate in this as well.

• Numbered tickets will be distributed one per group, and will end once all 30 tickets are sold out.
• Please note that each group is limited to one autograph.
• Please refrain from lining up before opening time as it will cause inconvenience to surrounding facilities.

④ Reflex game where you can win Kan-Etsu Expressway original goods and more

NEXCO EAST At the booth, depending on the results of the reflex game, visitors will receive special products from Kan-Etsu Expressway, limited edition products from Expressway service area/parking area using materials produced in Niigata Prefecture, as well as original novelty items!

⑤ Tourism promotion by NEXCO EAST and local governments along the line

In addition to promoting our special discount product "Dorawari" and the Northern Kanto Smartphone Stamp Rally, local governments along the line (Saitama Prefecture, Uonuma City, and the Northern Kanto Three Prefectures Wide-Area Tourism Promotion Council) will be promoting attractive tourist spots in each prefecture!

⑥Mini road patrol car and face-out panel

There will be a photo spot for children, a display of a road patrol vehicle (mini), an opportunity to try on a patrol member uniform (mini), and even a face-in panel where they can transform into a Expressway staff member.

⑦ Panel display of the effects of Kan-Etsu Expressway construction

We will be holding an exhibition of panels summarizing the effects of the construction of Kan-Etsu Expressway, which will mark the 40th anniversary of its full opening on Thursday, October 2, 2025.
