NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture) is pleased to announce that it has installed "short-term parking stalls" and has begun operating them at the following service areas (hereinafter referred to as "SA").

The purpose of "short-term parking spaces" is to ensure that drivers of large vehicles have more opportunities to rest by designating some of the large vehicle parking spaces as spaces for parking of 60 minutes or less. Since the demonstration experiment began in November 2023 and confirmed effects such as an increase in the number of vehicles using the space and an increase in the turnover rate of the parking spaces, it has been decided to Large the installation to ensure even more opportunities for rest (see attachment [PDF: 505KB]), and to install large vehicle parking spaces (5 spaces at each facility) as "short-term parking spaces" at Kamikawachi SA (Out-bound) and Nasu Kogen SA (Out-bound).
When using the "short-term parking space," please follow the signs and road markings within the rest area and leave within 60 minutes of parking. We appreciate your cooperation in using the space appropriately so that many customers can use it.
