NEXCO EAST Chiba Management Office (Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) will be closing the entrance ramp to Funabashi Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E14 Keiyo Road Out-bound lane at night to repair and inspect the sound barrier and inspect road signs.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.

1. Closed location and date and time

    December 1st (Monday) to December 3rd (Wednesday), 2020
    Every day from 21:00 to 5am the next morning
    Preparation day:
    December 4th (Thursday) to December 10th (Wednesday), 2020
    (Excluding Saturdays and Sundays) 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM each day

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours.
As indicated by  the blue arrow, if you take a detour between Funabashi IC and Hanawa IC via National Route 14 and National Route 296, the travel time is expected to be approximately 8 minutes (usually approximately 4 minutes).
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

We will be carrying out repairs and inspections of sound barriers and road sign inspections at the entrance ramp to Funabashi IC on the Out-bound Keiyo Road section where this work will be carried out is a one-lane section, and since the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, the ramp must be closed to carry out the work.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps on weekday nights when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
