NEXCO EAST Misato Management Office (Misato City, Saitama Prefecture) will be closing ramps at interchanges (hereinafter referred to as "ICs") and junctions (hereinafter referred to as "JCTs") on the C3 Gaikan Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Outer Ring Expressway") to carry out expansion joint replacement work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.

  • In the event of bad weather, the event will be postponed to a backup day.
    Please see the attached document [PDF: 743KB] for information on backup dates and detours in case of postponement.
  • If the ramp construction work is postponed due to bad weather, the work will be carried out on a backup date after Monday, December 15th.
    The order of construction work on the reserve day will be ①⇒②⇒③⇒④.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Construction overview

Due to damage to expansion joints at the ramps of the interchanges and junctions on the Outer Ring Road, we will be replacing them. In addition, we will be inspecting signs and soundproofing walls in some locations.
Since construction and inspection work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the ramps during this work. Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the ramps during the night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
