NEXCO EAST Nagano Construction Office (Nagano City, Nagano Prefecture) will be holding an event to distribute "Furakuishi" (unfallen rocks) amulets at the Yokokawa Service Area (hereinafter "SA") on the E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter "Joshinetsu Expressway") to support students and their families as exam season approaches.

What is "Fuorokuishi"?
This "unfalling rock" is made from andesite that "did not fall" during the Kitanomaki rock mass excavation work on the Joshinetsu Expressway, and was created with the hope that people would "not fall" on their exams.
