NEXCO EAST　The Utsunomiya Management Office (Kanuma City, Tochigi Prefecture) will close the ramp at night due to bridge repair work at the Izuruhara Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "Izuruhara PA") eastbound (toward Mito) on the E50 Kita-Kanto Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Kita Kanto Expressway"). Please note that restrooms and other facilities in the Deiruhara PA eastbound (Mito direction) will not be available during the closure. Please also note that you will not be able to exit the Deiruhara Smart Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "Deiruhara SIC") onto Prefectural Route 175.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

2. Detour

Take the Ashikaga Interchange, turn left at the traffic light intersection with the Ashikaga Interchange Footbridge, go straight on National Route 293, turn left at the traffic light intersection "Yamagata Entrance", and then use Izuruhara SIC.
If you take the detour shown in the diagram below, the journey is expected to take approximately 12 minutes (usually about 5 minutes).
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Due to damage to a bridge accessory at Kita-Kanto Expressway, repair work will be carried out. As the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, the ramp must be closed to carry out the work.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close ramps on weekday nights when traffic volume is low, and carry out construction work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This construction work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
