NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing the entrance ramp to Hino Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on In-bound E16 Yokohama Yokosuka Road (hereinafter referred to as "Yokoyoko Road") at night to carry out pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.
1. Closed location and date and time
- Closure location:
Yokoyokomichi In-bound Line Hino IC Entrance Ramp - Attached to each line E16 The indication such as shows the route number (numbering) of Expressway.
- Date and timeImplementation date:February 2nd (Monday) – February 12th (Thursday), 2020[Excluding weekends and holidays] 9pm to 5am each dayPreparation day:February 13th (Friday) - February 20th (Friday), 2020[Excluding Saturdays and Sundays] Every day from 21:00 to 5:00 the next morning
- In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
- Decisions on construction implementation will be made on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.
2. Detour
Please refer to the map below for detour routes.
As indicated by
the blue arrows, if you take a detour via Prefectural Route 21 and Hirado Route 486, the journey is expected to take approximately 12 minutes (usually approximately 5 minutes).
Please note that large vehicles cannot enter through Bessho IC. As indicated by the pink arrows, please use Kariba IC or Nagata IC via Circular Route 2 and National Route 1. The estimated travel time is approximately 19 minutes (usually 7 minutes).
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.
3. Construction overview
We will carry out pavement repair work at the entrance ramp of Yokoyokodo In-bound line Hino IC.
The section where this construction will be carried out is one lane, and since construction cannot be carried out with normal lane regulations when carrying out construction, it is necessary to close the ramp and carry out the work. Therefore, in order to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, we will close the ramps on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This is a necessary construction for you to use Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

- Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
- A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
