NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing the ramps at Shinhodogaya Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E16 Yokohama-Shindo Road Shindo at night to remove the suspended scaffolding following the completion of repainting work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.

    Ramp leading from National Route 16 Hodogaya Bypass in the direction of Hachioji to Yokohama-Shindo Road Road Out-bound

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Bus operation

When the ramps are closed at night, Sotetsu Bus (Route: Hama 17) that travels on Yokohama-Shindo Road In-bound lane will operate as usual.

3. Detour

For detours, please refer to the attached document [PDF: 260KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

Four. work outline

Yokohama-Shindo Road Hanging scaffolds will be removed from the Shin-Hodogaya IC ramp after the repainting work is completed.
Since the removal of the hanging scaffolds will not be possible under normal lane restrictions, it will be necessary to close the Shin-Hodogaya IC ramp for the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in an intensive and efficient manner. Since this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
