1. 1. Congestion forecast

◆Overview of traffic congestion prediction

  • This year's holiday schedule will consist of a series of consecutive holidays in the first half followed by a five-day holiday in the second half, so heavy traffic is expected on both the northbound and southbound lanes during the latter five-day holiday.
  • We predict that the peak of traffic congestion will be on Saturday, May 2nd for Out-bound traffic and on Tuesday, May 5th for In-bound traffic.
  • Last year, the latter half of the holiday period was a four-day weekend, but this year it's a five-day weekend, so traffic jams of 10km or more are expected to increase in both directions.
