NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Saitama City, Saitama Prefecture), Urawa Red Diamonds Co., Ltd. (commonly known as "Urawa Reds"), and Saitama City will display "Urawa, the City of Soccer" at the E4 Tohoku Expressway Urawa Interchange (exit from Tokyo direction) to promote Urawa, one of Japan's leading cities for soccer, to all users of Expressway.
Urawa IC is the nearest interchange to Saitama Stadium 2002, the home stadium of Urawa Reds, a football club based in Saitama City.
This initiative is the second in a series of community collaboration projects, following the wrapping of the Urawa Interchange (exit from the Iwatsuki direction). NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office, Urawa Reds, and Saitama City will continue to work together to revitalize the region.
