NEXCO EAST Tanihara Management Office (Tsukubamirai City, Ibaraki Prefecture) E6 Bridge repair work will be carried out on In-bound lanes Joban Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Joban Expressway") at the Chiyoda Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") (towards Tokyo), resulting in nighttime ramp closures. Please note that during the closures, it will not be possible to enter the In-bound Chiyoda PA (towards Tokyo) from the main road.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause our customers, but we ask that you plan your trip carefully, including checking for other rest facilities before you go out.

The decision to carry out construction will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of construction.

2. Construction overview

Due to damage to bridge infrastructure at Chiyoda PA (towards Tokyo) on the In-bound lane Joban Expressway, repair work will be carried out. Because the work cannot be performed with normal lane closures, the ramps will need to be closed to allow for the work to be completed.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the ramps during weekday evenings when traffic volume is low, and carry out the construction work intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

4. Commercial facility sales system

The operating schedule for the commercial facilities at Chiyoda PA (towards Tokyo) on the In-bound Joban Expressway which will be closed due to construction work, will be as follows:

During the closure, you will not be able to enter Chiyoda PA (towards Tokyo) from the main road. Please use the following rest facilities.
