2. Construction overview

We will carry out pavement repair work due to road surface failure at the exit ramp area of the Mibu IC exit on the eastbound Kita-Kanto Expressway. Since normal lane restrictions cannot carry out the construction, it is necessary to close the exit ramp at Mibu IC to carry out the work. Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we close the lamps on weekday nights when traffic is low, allowing the construction to be carried out intensively and efficiently.
This construction is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

3. Detour route when the exit ramp at Mibu IC on the eastbound Kita-Kanto Expressway is closed.

Exit the Kita-Kanto Expressway at Tsuga IC and use Prefectural Road 3, etc., as shown by the blue line in the diagram below. If you take this detour between Tsuga IC and Mibu IC, the estimated travel time is approximately 14 minutes (normally about 6 minutes).
The detour will add to the travel time, so please allow ample time for your journey.
