NEXCO EAST Keihin Management Office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will be closing the Mineoka exit on the Out-bound E83 Yokohama-Shindo Road Expressway at night to conduct inspections of road structures.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time when you go out.
Also, please be aware that if you enter Yokohama-Shindo Road during the closure, you will not be able to exit at the Mineoka exit and use Yokohama-Shindo Road for free.

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision to carry out the work will be announced on X (formerly Twitter) etc. around 5:00 pm on the day of the work.

2. Detour

Please refer to the diagram below for detours. Due to the detour, the required time will be longer, so please leave with plenty of time.

  • [Detour ①] For customers coming from the direction of Kinko JCT on the Shuto Expressway Mitsuzawa Line
    As indicated by the blue arrow, if you take a detour via the Mitsuzawa Exit of the Metropolitan Expressway Mitsuzawa Line, Prefectural Road 13, National Route 1, and National Route 16, the estimated travel time is approximately 11 minutes (normally about 3 minutes).
  • [Detour ②] For customers coming from Prefectural Road 13 towards Asama-shita
    As indicated by the pink arrow, if you take the detour via Prefectural Road 13 ⇒ National Route 1 ⇒ National Route 16, the estimated travel time is approximately 11 minutes (normally about 3 minutes).
  • [Detour ③] For customers coming from the Tokyo direction Daisan-Keihin Road
    As indicated by the light blue arrow, if you take the detour via the Hodogaya tollgate on Daisan-Keihin Road, then National Route 1, and then National Route 16, the estimated travel time is approximately 9 minutes (normally about 2 minutes).
  • [Detour ④] For customers coming from Kawasaki direction on National Route 1
    As indicated by the orange arrow, if you take the detour via National Route 1 and then National Route 16, the estimated travel time is approximately 6 minutes (normally about 1 minute).

Yokohama-Shindo Road Out-bound The Mineoka Exit will be closed at night to conduct inspections of road structures and other work. Since the section where this work will be performed consists of a single lane and the work cannot be carried out under normal lane restrictions, it is necessary to close the exit.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the exit on weeknights when traffic volume is low, allowing us to carry out the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. This work is necessary to ensure the safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Four. How to obtain traffic information

  • Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
  • A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
