NEXCO EAST Takasaki Management Office (Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture) will be closing the ramps of the Fujioka Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") on the E18 Joshin-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Joshinetsu Expressway") at night in order to carry out pavement repair work.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time when you go out.

1. Closed location and date and time

    Exit from Fujioka IC tollgate on the Joshinetsu Expressway towards Takasaki

    Entrance from Fujioka towards the Fujioka Interchange tollgate on the Joshinetsu Expressway.

  • Closure ② will be carried out after construction of Closure ① is completed, so Closures ① and ② will not be performed simultaneously.

  • In stormy weather, it will be postponed to the spare day.
  • The decision regarding whether to proceed with the construction will be announced around 5 PM on the day via X (formerly Twitter) and other channels.

2. Detour

The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow ample time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

At the entrance ramp of the Joshinetsu Expressway Fujioka IC, pavement damage has occurred, so pavement repair work will be carried out. The section where this work will be carried out is a single lane, and since normal lane regulations cannot carry out the work, it is necessary to close the ramps for the work.
Therefore, to minimize inconvenience to customers, we will close the lamps during weekday nights when traffic is low, and carry out the work intensively and efficiently. This work is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
