In conjunction with the start of operation of ETC-only toll gates, "ETC Only" signs will be installed on guide signs on general roads near interchanges to inform users that they will need to use ETC toll gates with vehicles equipped with ETC.

4. How to use ETC-only toll booths

Please use ETC vehicles.
If you enter an ETC toll gate when ETC cannot be used (e.g., when the ETC on-board unit is not installed or the ETC card is not inserted), do not back up; instead, go through the lane marked "ETC/Support" or "Support", stop temporarily, and follow the on-site signs and instructions of the attendants.
When ETC lanes are closed due to facility inspections, etc., ETC-equipped vehicles should also use the support lanes.
