NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Niigata City Nishi Ward, Regional Head Office President: Yoshio Shiraishi) was established on July 16, 2007. We will implement the restoration work for the Expressway damaged by the Niigata Chuetsu-oki Earthquake.
At the affected area, four lanes were opened (speed regulation of 80 km/hour) on December 5, last year due to an emergency restoration corresponding to the driving safety of customers. During this time, we have caused a great deal of inconvenience to our customers.Since early spring, we have conducted local surveys, surveys, etc., and are ready for this restoration work. Also, during the Obon period (August 8th to August 18th), it is possible to drive in four lanes, but after the end of the Obon period, one day lane will be restricted again. More details will be announced later.
