NEXCO EAST Joetsu Management Office (Joetsu City, Director: Kazuhiko Nagauchi) assumes a traffic accident in the Kasugayama Tunnel (extension 1,021m) on the Hokuriku Expressway and, in cooperation with relevant organizations, In order to respond swiftly and accurately, we will carry out the "Tunnel Comprehensive Disaster Prevention Drill" as follows.

4 Training content

In the Kasugayama tunnel, we will conduct training such as rescue of injured people, fire extinguishing activities, assuming that a collision accident between vehicles has occurred (the assumed contents of the accident are according to the reference material [PDF: 38KB] ).
