NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) will carry out snow removal work at night as follows, in order to secure safe traffic on the Expressway.
We apologize for the inconvenience, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
1 Implementation date
From Thursday, February 7, 2013 22:00 to 6:00 the next morning (8 hours)
2 Implementation section
Kan-Etsu Expressway Shiozawa Ishiuchi Interchange (IC) to Muikamachi IC (upper and lower lines)
3 Reasons for implementing traffic closures
Due to snow that has been falling since December last year, snow banks in the median strip have risen and collapsed into lanes, which could interfere with the safe running of customers. The work is to be carried out.
4 Transfer adjustment
In order to make a detour to a general road during the suspension of traffic, passengers who flow in or out of the following IC will adjust the toll.
