NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) aims to be a "Expressway that coexists in harmony with the living and natural environments along the way" and has displayed posters and signs to prevent illegal dumping of garbage, and has collaborated with the community. We carry out various efforts such as regular cleaning activities along the roads, and carry out the following clean campaigns during the “National Garbage Disposal Monitoring Week (May 30th to June 5th)” proposed by the Ministry of the Environment. Saturday, June 1 10:00-15:00 Roadside station Arai (proximity to Arai PA (In-bound line) on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway)
2 Activities
- Exhibition of awareness panels to prevent illegal dumping of garbage on Expressway and reduce garbage brought in from home
- Distributing portable garbage bags by calling for requests such as "reduction of household waste"
- SA/PA cleaning activities by employees (picking up trash in the area, separating trash, etc.)
- Distribution of flower seedlings as part of environmental efforts
- Distribution of the "Green Curtain Guidebook" as a PR for the "Green Curtain Project" promoted by the Niigata Environmental Conservation Agency
