NEXCO EAST Niigata Branch (Niigata City Chuo Ward) will implement a campaign to prevent ETC illegal traffic from 1 July (Saturday). The main cause of ETC illegitimate passage is forgetting to re-set up the ETC on-board unit due to expiration of the ETC card, forgetting to insert the card into the ETC in-vehicle unit, replacing the vehicle, etc. During this campaign period, we introduced the idol unit "Negicco (Negiko)" from Niigata as a campaign character to introduce the main reasons and how to deal with it when illegal traffic took place, I will call through the radio.

Negicco Profile
An idol unit based in Niigata formed in 2003. Members include Nao☆, Megu, and Kaede.
He currently serves as the Niigata Tourism Ambassador.
"Hikari no Shupuru," "Hey Bardia," and "Contradiction, Hajimemashita" all made it into the Oricon Weekly Top 10. In 2016, they held a live band-style tour with the "NEGiBAND," "Negicco Second Tour "The Music Band of Negicco" supported by Sato Foods," and the tour finale at Nakano Sunplaza was a success. On May 24th, they released their third album, "Tea for Three," and on July 30th, they held a long-awaited solo concert at NHK Hall.
