NEXCO EAST Niigata branch (Niigata-shi Chuo-ku) said, "Thank you for commemorating the 20th anniversary of the opening of the Iwakoshi Expressway Full Linecold! "Midsummer Snow Festival" will be held at Denka Big Swan Stadium in conjunction with the 2017 Meiji Yasuda Mutual Life Insurance Co. J1 league official match "Albirex Niigata vs Vegalta Sendai" on Saturday, August 19th.
In this event, in addition to the real snow piled up on the Expressway in winter, a snow play zone that brought about 50 tons, a huge snow removal vehicle with Expressway specifications and an altitude inspection where you can see the event from about 5 meters in height We will provide you with the unique experience of a Expressway company, such as riding a lift vehicle.
Also, in order to let many people enjoy this event and the home games of Albirex Niigata, we will give a ticket to the first 2,000 people to watch the game on the day (see back for details).
