NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) E49 We will carry out night traffic closures between the Niigata Chuo Junction (JCT) and Aizu-Wakamatsu Interchange (IC) on the Ban-Etsu Expressway in the face-to-face section due to pavement repair work.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as it is a closed road necessary for using the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Ban-Etsu Expressway closed at night (25 nights)
Route Ban-Etsu Expressway up and down line
section (1) Between Niigata Chuo JCT and Yasuda IC (2) Between Yasuda IC and Nishiaizu IC
Implementation period May 18th (Monday) to 22nd (Friday) [5 nights]
Reserve Day: May 25th (Mon) -29th (Fri)		 From Monday, June 1 to Friday, June 5 [5 nights]
Reserve day: Monday, June 8th to Friday, June 12th
Time 20:00 - 6:00

Remarks
  • The Niigata Parking Area (PA) and Gosen PA will be closed at 19:00 on both the up and down lines.
  • The Aganogawa Service Area (SA) will be closed at 19:00 for both the up and down lines.
    Both Kamikawa PA (upper and lower lines) and Nishiaizu PA (In-bound) will be closed at 20:00.
    The inflow section from the Nishiaizu PA (Out-bound line) to the main line (toward Niigata) will be closed at 20:00.

  • Nishiaizu PA (Out-bound) will be closed at 20:00.
    The inflow section from Nishiaizu PA (In-bound line) to the main line (Fukushima area) will be closed at 20:00.
