NEXCO EAST Joetsu Management Office (Joetsu City, Niigata Prefecture) will hold the award ceremony for the highest award, excellence award, and winning works of the "10th Joshin Etsu Painting Exhibition" on Saturday, November 6th. It will be held at "Citizen's Plaza".
This 10th event is a painting exhibition held as part of educational support for children in areas along the railway lines who will lead the next generation.
This time, 902 entries were received from children in Joetsu City, Itoigawa City, Myoko City, Shinano Town, Kamiminochi District, Nagano Prefecture, and Asahi Town, Toyama Prefecture. In this memorable 10th edition, we will send a desk calendar designed based on the submitted works to all participants.

   • A certificate of commendation will be given by the director of our Joetsu management office to the children (18 students from 17 schools) who are the authors of 18 of the 50 winning works that are above the Encouragement Award.
   • We will take a group photo of the award-winning children.
