NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) would like to inform you that it has compiled traffic conditions for the Golden Week period (Friday, April 26th, 2024 to Monday, May 6th, 2024: 11 days).
≪Overview of traffic conditions≫
- The average daily traffic volume on representative sections was 99.5% compared to 2023.
- Traffic volume during this period was highest on Out-bound lanes on Friday, May 3rd, and on In-bound lanes on Sunday, May 5th.
- There was one traffic jam of more than 5 km in length, a decrease of three times compared to 2023.
- 期間中最大の渋滞は、E8北陸道（下り線）長岡（ナガオカ）JCT～中之島見附（ナカノシマミツケ）ICで、5月3日（金）に発生した事故を要因とする『6.7km』でした。
