NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) has compiled traffic conditions for the Obon period (Thursday, August 7th, 2025 to Sunday, August 17th, 2025: 11 days), and would like to inform you of this.
≪Overview of traffic conditions≫
- The average daily traffic volume on representative sections was 98.7% compared to 2024.
- Traffic volume reached its peak on Out-bound lanes on Saturday, August 9th, and on the In-bound lanes on Saturday, August 16th.
- There were zero traffic jams of 5km or more, a decrease of one compared to 2024.
