NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) would like to inform you about large-scale traffic restrictions and road closures due to construction work scheduled from the Obon period in August 2026 onwards.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time when you go out.
1. All-day traffic restrictions (excluding road closures)

Lane operations will be switched and the deck of the passing lane will be replaced near the Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange (In-bound) on Hokuriku Expressway. Therefore, from early morning on Wednesday, August 5th, it will not be possible to use the Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange In-bound exit from the passing lane.
Customers exiting at Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange are requested to use the driving lane in advance.
