NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) has compiled information on traffic conditions during the Obon period [August 7th (Fri) to August 16th (Sun), 2026: 10 days] and would like to inform you of the details.
≪Overview of traffic conditions≫
- The average daily traffic volume for the representative section was 102.1% compared to 2025.
- Traffic volume peaked on August 8th (Saturday) for Out-bound lanes and on August 15th (Saturday) for In-bound lanes.
- No traffic jams exceeding 5km occurred.
