Introduced different types of construction work on Expressway renewal project

NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) contracts for the construction (different work construction) to consolidate multiple works under one traffic regulation in order to efficiently implement the Expressway renewal project business.

By planning such construction, we expect repeated reductions in traffic regulations between the same interchanges (ICs) and efficient construction management and safety management by construction contractors ( Attachment [PDF: 314KB] reference).

2018 fiscal year, "Tohoku Expressway Towada (Towada) tube Expressway is scheduled for contract renewal construction" (bid announcement expected early August). The outline of construction work is as follows.

1 Construction overview

Within Towada Administration Office (66.1km between Tohoku Expressway Ashiro IC and Ikarigaseki IC), multiple contracts were contracted as one construction. (Contracted for multiple "bridge floor plate replacement work" and "tunnel repair work" at the same time)
