NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai, Regional Head Office president: Mikio Kashima), Check the winter tire installation status and ask the customer to install it early. Therefore, Expressway in major interchanges (IC), has implemented the mounting survey of winter tire in the early winter period.
The results of the survey conducted on December 1 are as shown in the table below.
The current winter tire installation rate is about 100% in the north-east and 80% except in the Iwaki Chuo IC where there is little snowfall in the south-tohoku, and we are now almost ready for the winter road. If you haven't fitted winter tires yet, please do so early.
This time, the winter tire installation situation survey in the early winter season will be completed.

- Survey method: Visually inspect the tire type of the vehicle passing through the toll booth.
(One time: about 100 units or 30 to 60 minutes) - The Aomori IC, Yokote IC, and Kitaue Tsurugi IC have not been surveyed this time because they achieved a 100% installation rate in the previous survey.
