NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City), in the wake of a full-fledged snowfall season, winter tires on Expressway were promoted with the aim of encouraging early replacement with winter tires and enlightening safe driving. We have conducted a survey on the mounting situation and have published the results.
The results of the survey conducted on December 6 are shown in the table below.
Since the winter tire installation rate for the entire Tohoku area has reached a little over 80% (the same level as last year), we will finalize this survey, but in some areas there is still no heavy snowfall, and in areas where the installation rate is low You can see it.
NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office will continue to carry out a wide range of awareness-raising activities through traffic safety campaigns and the website “DraPla”. (Thank you for your cooperation.)
