NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will use winter tires on Expressway in order to promote early snow tire replacement and enlighten safe driving on snowy roads during the coming snowfall season. A tire installation status survey is conducted and the results are announced.
In the 6 prefectures of Tohoku, the first snow was observed, Previous survey (conducted on November 19) Compared with, the installation rate of winter tires is higher.
The road conditions will change due to sudden changes in the weather in the northeastern part of the country and in the mountainous areas of Yamagata and Ban-Etsu Expressway Expressway. Please attach it.
