Notice of parking lot/sidewalk usage restrictions and night closure

NEXCO EAST Koriyama Administration Office (Koriyama city, Fukushima Prefecture)E4 Tohoku Expressway Kagamiishi Parking Area (PA) (In-bound line), we will carry out pavement improvement work while restricting the use of parking lots and sidewalks and closing at night as follows.

The smart interchange (IC) and toilets can be used during the construction period except on night closing days.

This construction is necessary to improve the safety and comfort of Expressway, so we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers. We ask for your understanding and cooperation, such as by using the service areas (SA) and PAs before and after the work (such as Asaka PA and Abukuma PA Tohoku Expressway).

1. Construction site

2. Construction period

• Restrictions on use of parking lots and sidewalks
  June 15 (Thu), 2017- July 1 (Sat), 2017
  [Preliminary day: July 2 (Sun) - July 10 (Mon), 2017]
• Closed at night
  June 29 (Thu), June 30 (Fri) of 2017
  [Preliminary day: July 3 (Mon) - July 10 (Mon), 2017]

• We will also regulate on Saturdays and Sundays.
• If the weather is bad or there is a possibility of deterioration, we will stop the work.

3. Construction time

• 利用制限：規制開始日6:00から規制撤去日の18:00まで
• 夜間閉鎖：毎夜22:00から翌6:00まで

• 2. Kagamiishi PA (In-bound line) and smart IC cannot be used when closed at night.

Four. Construction content

We will carry out pavement improvement work for the parking lot along with the barrier-free construction that eliminates the step between the parking lot and the sidewalk.

• The parking lot will be reduced by a maximum of 27 parking spaces from normal times.
