NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will be held at Sendai City Kotodai Park on Saturday, September 22, 2018 and Sunday, September 23, 2018. "Highway Festa Tohoku 2018-Connecting regions and connecting with the region" It will be held.
Local people from all over the six prefectures of Tohoku connected by Expressway gather together to provide visitors with "regional goods" such as local performing arts and local gourmets from all over the Tohoku that cannot be experienced without actually going there. It is an event that you can enjoy and rediscover the charm of the Tohoku region.
Special events will also be held at this event. Including the talk show that invited Erina Arai who is appearing in the commercial of NEXCO EAST, the local high school students in Aomori showcased the Tsugaru shamisen performance and a demonstration of cooking using Shonai ingredients from Yamagata prefecture.
