8 Expected maintenance effect
- By Large the access area (10-minute area) to the Expressway, it will be easier to move over a wide area, and it is expected that the convenience of residents for commuting and going to the hospital will be improved.
- By shortening the transportation time to the tertiary emergency medical facility (Ota Nishinouchi Hospital), it is expected that the emergency activities will be spread over a wider area and that the emergency medical care will reduce the burden on patients and improve the survival rate.

- It is expected that the number of tourists will increase by shortening the time from Expressway to major tourist destinations (“Abukuma Cave”, “Irimizu Cave”, “Hoshi no Mura Observatory”) and improving access.
9 How to use smart IC
◆ Smart IC is an interchange exclusively for ETC.
- To use it, insert an ETC card into the ETC on-board unit and pass.
- Be sure to stop before the opening / closing bar of the smart IC.
- If the open / close bar does not open, please inform the staff.
